TECNALIA and Kawada #Robotics Collaboration to provide advanced functionalities to NEXTAGE Robot through API
TECNALIA and #KAWADA Robotics have signed a Collaboration agreement.
The objective is to develop #RoboticSoftware to expand the capabilities of the NEXTAGE robot in production and ease its deployment.
To achieve this, TECNALIA’s FLEXBOTICS software for Agile Robotics will be used to control NEXTAGE robot through a new API.
New functionalities are provided to NEXTAGE robot, such as:
Reusable Skills-based Programming
Visual programming of skills sequence and target poses in CAD software (CATIA)
Collision-free path planning
and more to come such as:
Online workspace monitoring for unplanned obstacle avoidance
3D perception for parts detection and localization
Teaching by demonstration
Automatic part processing
